Through a play-based curriculum, intentional teachers support young children as they explore STEAM concepts in natural ways. Academic learning and intellectual learning do not have to be separated. In fact, they must work hand in hand in order to help all students become successful in the classroom and in the real world. Laying the foundation for the development of science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills at the early childhood level is critical to helping students become successful at higher classroom levels.
