Mrs. Hodge, CUSD Superintendent
Welcome to the Coolidge Unified School District! We hope that you will visit our website often for valuable information and school news. We are proud of the work our students and staff do and hope you will use this site to become more informed.
In Coolidge, we pride ourselves on being Student-Centered and Community Connected. We have deep roots in the greater Coolidge community dating back to 1925 and our first graduating class in 1936. Steeped in a great tradition of educational excellence and athletic prowess, we seek to continue to foster the sense of pride we hold within our schools. Our work is focused on seeking to understand, engage, and support the continuous development of every child. The instructional practices we use are designed to allow students to build independence and application of what is presented while also providing the support necessary for success. When it comes to teaching and learning, here is what I know about Coolidge:
- We are passionate about creating and sustaining positive cultures within our schools and district buildings.
- We are passionate about positively influencing the lives of children and know we have the tools to prepare them for the next phase of their educational experience.
- We are passionate about the belief that it isn't programs that teach kids - it's teachers.
- We are passionate about creating opportunities to collaborate, together and with stakeholders, and know that we are stronger together than we are as individuals.
I am incredibly honored and grateful to be able to serve as the Superintendent of Coolidge Unified School District and will work hard to continue to lay the groundwork to build upon this district's tradition of excellence. We will hold true to our mission, vision, and core values to ensure we are doing the best for all students. Working together, we will inspire success and a lifetime of learning.
